I have a feeling every other service is trying to neck up to the Google competition. I like services that get into the META programming; and lately I’ve come to like Yahoo services, because of interface between ‘CHAT’ and INBOX.’ You can see easily who among your friends is online on the left navigational pane. I love the growing programming nuances, which offers more incentives for users. May makes it better for people who quite techno-literate-democracy!
In fact I have always dreamt of platform ‘democratization.’ In the spirit of ‘DEMOCRACY TECHNOLOGY ‘ which the Internet has come to be known, I see a lot of missed opportunities eluding people from developed nations to learn and understand cultures of developing societies. It will not matter where one comes from, but what we will increase cultural understanding, if we all had the techno-opportunities to publish our side of the global culture.
For me it would be most profound to come to commune, with my understanding of the world on either side of the CULTURAL DIVIDE. Advanced cultures based on technological advancement, may have lost the sense of where it all began, at the very natural plain of being simply human. The plane of living 75% technologically driven lifestyles, if pollinated with 10% of techno-driven lifestyles, will cause mutual gauge for humanity. Perhaps given the recent Indonesian Environmental and Climatic Conference in Bali, we could understand need to be down-to-earth, rather than be smoked up in the furnace of technology. Awareness created for all through technology, about the harms of industrial advancement could best be raised on the Internet for the world’s people, who do not understand. DEMOCRATIZATION OF HUMAN SENSE IN TECHNOLOGY IS RECOMMENDABLE.
Probably if I attend WeMedia, I will bring back experiences to bear on my immediate community; much as I would have impressed on those who know nothing about my society.
