Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your feedback. I am the founder & CEO of Conference Bay. With regards to the vendor contract, allow me to explain very briefly why this looks 'dense'. Conference Bay offers conference organisers the opportunity to list their events on our site free of charge. Visitors to the site can make a bid for a seat at any conference and once the organisers accepts this bid, a legally binding agreement is in place between the organiser and the visitor. Sounds all pretty boring but we of course need to make sure that payment takes place and that the deal is honored by both parties. Hence the legal wording which never seems to fit on one page.

The model however, as some people have pointed out, is quite innovative and fun and can save delegates quite a significant amount of money. If people can not find the event they are interested in on our website they can let us know and we will not only add it for them but also get their bid through to the organiser.

Hope this helps, looking forward to more reactions!

Hi Anne, and thanks for the info. It looks very promising - although the vendor contract is pretty dense.
