We're very excited by this turn of events at CC. Joi Ito is an amazing board member for us at WITNESS.

He has been instrumental in brining Creative Commons licensing structure for WITNESS projects, most notably our Hub (http://hub.witness.org)- a website dedicated to human rights media and action that anyone anywhere can upload video, audio, image files, etc. about human rights issues.

Users uploading their content to the Hub are asked to opt into a CC structure and we hope will catch on!
