Steve Arend joined CMP Technology as Vice President, and head of the new Digital Media Services Group, based in CMP’s Chicago office. The Digital Services Group provides next generation web solutions to CMP’s marketing customers and internally to the other CMP divisions (Electronics, Games, Software, Light Reading and ICMI (International Customer Management Institute). CMP’s e- Learning platform focused on educating engineers will become part of the new group. Mr. Arend founded How Machines Work, a leading designer and developer of next- generation, customized interactive online environments, and developed an extensive customer list including Infineon, Siemens, Wind River, HP, Rockwell Automation and Sun Microsystems.
