As Executive Vice President of the Global Ecosystem and Partner Group at SAP, Zia Yusuf is responsible for managing an open ecosystem of software solution partners, developers, and related communities including the SAP Developer Network (SDN). In addition, Mr. Yusuf co-manages SAP NetWeaver, an open integration and application platform that aligns IT with a company’s business objectives.
Prior to his current role at SAP, Mr. Yusuf founded and led the company’s Corporate Strategy Group, as well as its Design Services Team (DST). He also co-founded and served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of SAP Markets, the business-to-business marketplace of SAP, where he also was appointed Managing Director to lead the business into the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, Mr. Yusuf held positions within the investment banking division at Goldman, Sachs and Company, where he worked on corporate finance and mergers and acquisition transactions; and at the World Bank Group, focusing on health sector issues in
Zia Yusuf holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics and international affairs from Macalester College; a master of business administration degree from the Harvard Business School; and a master of science degree in international affairs from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
